The Jason Hartman Foundation

Mission Statement

What is the purpose of secondary education? Is it to have children learn the names of dead English poets? Is it to memorize dates and facts rather than the lessons of history? Is to learn mathematical theorems that will have little, if any, practical use in later life?

Jason Hartman, having experienced the full range of learning offered in the public schools of Southern California, believes that important aspects of a well-rounded education are lacking in secondary education taught in many American schools today. Hartman believes that real life demands additional education. Young adults need to learn how to set and achieve their life goals and become successful in their careers. They need to learn the ways and means of achieving financial security and providing for a comfortable retirement. These things are not taught in most schools – they are left to trial-and-error and far too many people never learn them.

Jason Hartman was fortunately exposed to the teachings of a number of motivational and financial gurus early in life. His entrepreneurial drive combined with the application of what he learned allowed him to achieve millionaire status in his twenties. Now, having achieved financial independence, he is devoting time and money to helping others follow in his footsteps. The Jason Hartman Foundation was established to assist young people learn how to build wealth and live The American Dream. Through donations to a wide variety of organizations, programs and causes, the Foundation helps youngsters from every walk of life learn to appreciate the American economic miracle and take advantage of the many opportunities that are a by-product of the freedom to excel.

“Strange is our situation here upon earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: That we are here for the sake of others…for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy. Many times a day, I realize how much my outer and inner life is built upon the labors of people, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received.”
